i can see the type of style you are going for but there is need for you to research on type of podcast logos and ideas that are out there look for common symbols used in the industry . After that look at typographical styles used across the industry it will give you a broad type of the style you need to apply to your design. you need to improve on 3 basic issues typography, symbolism and uniqueness of the logo. But good first try you are getting there.
